Southwest Blues Magazine is a Dallas based blues publication which began publishing in December 1997. Available free at many regional blues clubs and record stores. Also available by subscription from: Southwest Blues, P.O. Box 710475, Dallas, TX 75371-0475. Price is $20 for 11 monthly issues. Several other local publications have music listings, including  blues.  Both the Dallas Morning News and Fort Worth Star Telegram  include weekend listings in their Friday editions.  The Dallas Observer  is a weekly entertainment  newspaper in Dallas that includes concert listings and,  rarely, feature stories on blues artists. The Fort Worth Weekly is a similar paper in Fort Worth.  Buddy Magazine is  another monthly music magazine and has extensive club  listings for the entire month and occasional feature stories  on local and regional blues artists.  (E-mail Buddy Magazine )  Buddy, Fort  Worth Weekly, and the Dallas Observer are available free  at many local clubs, music, and book stores.  Most of their websites contain archives of past music articles.

Blues on TV!

Da Blues is a locally produced blues TV show hosted by KKDA DJ Da Wolf.  It airs every Sunday morning at 1:00 am on Channel 21, KTXA TV.  They feature both local and national artists.  Their website is at:   http://dablues1.tv/
