Blues Scene Sampler Project

The goal of this project is a simple one: to spread the news about the exciting Dallas/Fort Worth
blues scene through digital video.  This is a non-profit undertaking that will explore different avenues
of distribution to the general public through web streaming, DVDs, and other means. 
Each artist or band allows filming of one performance of an original song.  That video,
with website or other contact information embedded, is then made available with
other similar videos to allow the viewers to "sample" the Dallas/Fort Worth blues scene.  The
emphasis will be on the performers and their art, not on fancy video techniques.  As more
performances are added to the library, they will be listed here.  As new avenues of distribution
are explored, they will be listed here.  Be sure to check back from time to time.

I am now experimenting with streaming digital video clips on the internet! 
I recommend a DSL or Cable Modem connection due to file size and you will need a player with MP4 capability.  
You can view the videos with dial-up, but it will take 10-15 minutes to download each video.

I now have most of these videos available at youtube.com.  I think the youtube player is inferior to the Quicktime
player, but it is another means of distribution and a popular service.  If you visit youtube, please rate and comment on these videos!
